Trade fairs are first-choice means     Almost all decision-makers in German business, exactly 86 %, attend trade fairs. In their view trade fairs represent one of the most important instruments assisting them during the purchasing and procurement process. These are the findings of a LINK Institute survey commissioned by AUMA, which examined decision-makers’ attitudes as to the usefulness of trade fairs.    [continue]  

Stable trade fair growth expected     The German trade fair organisers are this year planning to conduct 156 international trade fairs in Germany. AUMA expects that the numbers of exhibitors and visitors and the rented space at these events - as already in 2007 - will increase by 2 - 3%.    [continue]

Hans-Joachim Boekstegers new Chairman of AUMA     Hans-Joachim Boekstegers (52), Managing Director of MULTIVAC, Wolfertschwenden/Allgäu, was elected new Chairman of AUMA on 6th November 2007. On 1st January 2008, he has succeed Thomas H. Hagen, member of the Executive Board of Demag Cranes AG, Düsseldorf, who has chaired AUMA since 2004.    [continue]
